Epic Ink is an American realty TV series that premiered on August 20, 2014 on A&E Network. It was conceived, cast and co-produced by Chris 51. The series features a group of talented tattoo artists and their love of tattooing pop culture at their Oregon-based shop Area 51 Tattoo. At it's height, Epic Ink had a million viewers a week on prime-time television. It directly helped unite the worlds of tattooing and geek culture and changed the landscape of realty tattoo TV, delivering a more colorful, comedic approach without the drama of its predecessors.
